Who we are
WagerAdvice was built by a small team of data engineers who were frustrated with the sports-betting advice industry. Tout services hide their records. Expert picks rely on charisma. "Premium" tools hand you a firehose of stats and tell you to figure it out yourself.
We believed there was a better answer: do the statistical work once, publish the receipts, and only show users the plays that come from segments with a proven multi-year edge. No ego, no narrative — just the segments that proved profitable across multiple seasons of our backtest.
Our philosophy
Backtest deep
Three to five seasons of historical data per sport. We test every plausible segment — spread tiers, ML ranges, home/away, division, month, totals — and keep only the segments that made money.
Require a multi-season edge
"Profitable on average" can hide a brutal year. So we keep only segments with a positive multi-season record — most profitable in 4 of 5 seasons or better — and publish every segment's full season-by-season history, off-years included.

We verify minimum legal age at signup (21+ in the US, 19+ in Canada) and prominently display problem-gambling resources on every page of the site. Sports betting should be entertainment, not a solution.
✓Honest sizing
Every play carries a Kelly-based unit recommendation scaled to the segment's historical edge. We tell you how much to bet, not just who to bet.
